A Few of My Favorite Things...

Like most girls, I find myself magnetically attracted to all the specialty pamper yourself stores in the mall. I have a difficult time passing by Bath and Body Works, Victoria's Secret, Brookstone, Trade Secret, and all sorts of other little shops. I love to buy hair products, lotions, and anything that will make my house smell good. I also love bubble baths and soaks for those nights when I need to just take a long bath and destress. One of my favorite places is Origins, but I never actually purchase anything there because I'm poor. That is usually the case with most of those stores. I look around, smell all the lotions, body washes, perfumes, and play with all the gadgets and gismos, but rarely do I actually purchase anything for myself (except for candles). I was recently in Origins and decided to try a new product. It's supposed to work like microdermabrasion and for those of you who know me, I'll try just about anything to clear up my skin. So, I bought this product and I've been using it for about a week now. I will keep you updated on how it works.

I've also been meaning post a picture of my precious little puppy Lexi so that all could see her:) Hope this works...

Your puppy is absolutely adorable! I too am a big window shopper. I can get shopping satisfaction just by perusing the stores. I find if there's something that would be good for the future (gifts and such) and I write it down it makes it easier when it's actually time to purchase it, all I have to do is go out and get it.

Found you through the other Amanda, Island Girl. I'm on a hiatus as far as my own blogging but I'm reading up on my dailies and was intrigued by the name on her blog roll, 'Flower's Bloom', though I don't see any trace of that name here. I enjoyed my visit and must blogroll you so I will be back!

Thanks for dropping by:) Actually, the name "Flower's Bloom" was derived from Amanda's nickname for me - "Flower". During the summers when we worked as camp counselors together, we were once put in the same cabin and our campers had to figure out a way to distinguish us. They began by calling us Amanda 1 and Amanda 2, but they decided that wasn't fair and began to all me Amanda Flower (my name tag had a flower on it) and they called her Amanda Rainbow (her nametag had a rainbow on it - this was back when rainbows were simple signs of God's love and promise to us). Anyway, to this day, I still call her Rainbow and she calls me Flower.
